Loans

During term time patrons can borrow loanable books for a minimum of 7 days during that period. Patrons can place holds on loans. As long as there are no holds or overdue fees, items may be renewed. After a year all items become due.

Loans to special research collections (Forschungsapparate) by members of the English Department:

Items on loan to the "Forschungsapparat" of a member of the English Department can be accessed in that person's office. Names can be found in the online catalogue (click on the due date) or by asking at the library information counter. Loans in this category can be kept for up to four semesters but are made accessible to other library patrons. Please contact the member of the Department in order to arrange access. If you are unsure about who a Forschungsapparat belongs to, contact the library. We will give you the information who to contact in the English Department.

Please take note of the general lending conditions of Vienna University Library, including information on overdue fees.
