Since the university was founded in 1365, books and manuscripts have been preserved by the University Library and made available for teaching, research and study. Today, our holdings include manuscripts, fragments, incunabula, bookplates, maps, rare prints and bequests of historical significance. Our task is to protect and research this cultural heritage and make it accessible to the public – both on site and digitally.
