Computer workstations for students with impairments

We also offer a computer workstation for students with impairments at the special library’s group study room (1st basement floor).

To use this workstation, you have to book the group study room. You can do so personally at the information desk or by telephone at: +43-1-4277-168-01. Alternatively, you can also send an e-mail to fb-sensengasse.ub@univie.ac.at.
You do not have to provide proof of your impairment to use this computer workstation.

The computer workstation for students with impairments is equipped with automatically height-adjustable desks, wheeled office chairs and a dimmable, flicker-free desk lamp. The computer hardware consists of a desktop, a 22-inch monitor with a swivel monitor arm, a large-type computer keyboard, a USB extension cable, a printer and a scanner. The software used includes a JAWS screen reader, a MAGic screen magnification software as well as all other applications that are also available in all other computer rooms.
In addition, the workstation offers a video magnifier.
