In order to create additional capacity during the closure of the Large Reading Room, we have rented a room with 160 seats in the University Centre Althanstrasse ("Alte WU"), which will be available as a reading and study room from October 2024.
You can reach the reading room directly from the main university building by taking tram line D, Liechtenwerder Platz station.
From there it is a short walk to the main entrance of the building. The room is located immediately after the entrance on the left.
