Visit the main library's historic closed stacks, which are normally not open to the public, before they are being converted to new user areas.
Each guided tour takes about 45 minutes and will lead up and down several sets of stairs through multiple levels and narrow corridors.
The tours are thus not accessible for everyone. Please notify us in case of reduced mobility, in which case we will provide a member of staff that will accompany you in the lifts. The roof of the main reading room can only be accessed via stairs.
