The Digital Humanities Services team develops and operates offerings that support researchers in applying digital methods in the humanities. The aim is to provide practice-oriented, sustainable services that are developed in close cooperation with the research community.
Current and planned focal areas include:
- Transkribus: advice and support for text recognition, layout analysis, and workflows in digital research projects
- Text and data analysis: services for the computer-assisted evaluation of humanities data
- UNIDAM: The University of Vienna’s Digital Asset Management System for Research and Teaching
- DLBT: Digital Library and Bibliography of Literature in Translation and Adaptation
- Digital editions: development of sustainable services for the creation and provision of digital editions
- Project participation: active involvement in research projects at the University of Vienna and beyond
