NEW: Reserve collection shelves for students

Working on a thesis or paper with our books?

Tired of schlepping your English and American Studies Library books to and from the library every day?

Our reserve collection shelves may be the solution you are looking for:

• You can turn normally loanable books which you want to use in the library into books that can be only used in the library for up to a semester (and holidays).
• Your selected books will be allocated a shelf mark on our RC shelves near the library entrance, and you can come to the library and use them here.

Of course, you cannot take these books home and other people can use them in the library, too, but no one else can borrow them or place holds on them.

So, you have two options: (1) Borrow the loanable books you need to take them home (or place a hold on them if you want to borrow them next), or (2) ask us to create a reserve collection shelf for you in the library.
