The Jewish Studies Library is a sublibrary of the University Library. Together with the University Library we provide students, scholars and teachers of Jewish, Biblical, and related Studies with general and specialised information resources in Jewish history and literatures, Jewish religion, Hebrew/Aramaic language and linguistics, Jewish regional and cultural studies, Israel studies, Antisemitism.
Today's Jewish Studies library has emerged from the small collection of Hebraica assigned to the Jewish Studies Department (Institut für Judaistik) at the time of its foundation in 1966.
