The Scientometrics Working Group was established in 2007. It defines itself as an informal communication forum of all organizational units of the University of Vienna, which deal with scientometric issues. Representatives of the University Library, the Unit for Quality Assurance , the Research Services and the Rector's Office are all involved.
The working group regularly deals with all relevant scientometric questions, bundles the existing diverse responsibilities and enables coordinated implementation.
